Bahamian Fire Dancer (Saylor Murray)

“If it doesn’t set your soul on fire, its not worth the burn”

As a photographer, it is sometimes hard to think outside of the box. This shoot was my favorite to date, but also one of my most challenging. This was especially hard seeing that I had to balance the light coming from the fire with my flash. This photo was not manipulated in any way besides the color, those are REAL flames.

We started the shoot a little later than expected. Because the bright sun would not allow us to shoot and see the flames. So we decided to wait until sunset time. The results are amazing!

Saylor is an amazing fire dancer, I credit this image to her.
